Vietnamese couture: The adventure continues

In my last post I shared some of the ideas I'd found to work with for the made-to-measure clothes I'm having created in Hoi An.

I chose the tailor shop Phuong Nam this time around and have been in to see them twice; for the initial consultation and measurements, and this morning for the first fitting.

As well as some of the outfits I'd already thought about, I'm also having designs based on the following shapes and patterns:

Phuong Nam also has a sister shoe shop, and happily my budget stretches to have my first ever pair of custom footwear made!

I've asked for something similar to the sandals below, but a little more simple:

So all in all, that's three dresses, one playsuit, two skirts, two crop tops, one blouse and one pair of sandals. All made-to-measure. All for about £200.

Happy, happy Bunny!

I go back to the tailor's tomorrow morning for a second fitting and to the shoe shop in the afternoon. Can't wait to see how it's all coming along!
