Jeans in general are essential in my wardrobe, and this year I have been rotating between my black ones and three pairs of ripped, tapered boyfriend jeans that vary in shade through the denim spectrum.
Of course over the warmer months I've been mostly donning shorts, skirts and dresses, with jeans coming into their own on those inevitable chilly English days or dressed-up for the evenings. Going into autumn, solid legwear is going to be more necessary, and since my realisation that I can't seem to get away from my skinnies, I'm craving a departure from jeans.
My trusty old Topshop currently has a fantastic range of trousers that I'm lusting after, which would perfectly compliment many items that I already own. The ideal new season update without having to dish out for whole new outfits.
