Vivienne Westwood inspiration #1

First things first. Apologies for being M.I.A. for so long. It has been a difficult few weeks and my motivation levels for writing have been pretty low. But... I've managed to beat down the despondency enough to rediscover the blogging bug.

And a suitably grand way to relaunch Bunny Habits has naturally made its way into my creative noggin.

My mum and I went shopping in the West End on Sunday - a belated celebration for my birthday at the end of June. There will be a post soon to show you my haul. Such pretty things!

Mum and I had lots of fun in Selfridges trying on Vivienne Westwood Anglomania outfits, and were both suddenly struck by a lightning bolt of inspiration for wedding outfits. Although sadly not for me!!

Having bridesmaids dresses made for my four girlies when I could dress them in Vivienne Westwood creations for a very reasonable cost...? Matrimonial madness! The mother of the bride dressing in anything less than a hot designer suit...? Don't be silly.

The Anglomania S/S2011 collection offers some wonderful options.

Mother of the bride

Of course the ripped tights and chunky shoes probably wouldn't work too well for such a high-brow occasion (ha) but I'm so inspired and excited by the idea of having a wedding where all my favourite ladies are kitted out in Vivienne Westwood.

I'm having a bespoke dress and have a wonderful design in mind (otherwise I'd be in Westwood in a shot!)

Dior had some incredible creations in its couture collection for Fall 2010 (that's Autumn to the British contingent) from which I may have to pilfer some ideas.

Good to be back.
