Magpie phase

I have recently been on a big jewellery kick, buying up anything I fall in love with that shines and glitters and winks and flirts and beckons.

Etsy, as ever, came up trumps with a couple of gorgeous handmade pieces - one of which I styled in last week's nautical post.

Yesterday, the adorable 'Little Bunny Ring' arrived from Sarah Birt. It's even more lovely than it looked in the photos online. I think I'm going to have to invest in a matching necklace and earrings, as soon as money allows.

I also bought some more earrings by made. I have two pairs of skulls from them already (one of which are these). I love the raw feel their pieces have and the fair trade ethos behind their production.

made say:
"All made products are designed by influential designers, then sourced and created within disadvantaged communities across East Africa ... The powerful concept behind made is the brainchild of Cristina Cisilino. Having spent many years in the world of fashion, Cristina's love of Africa, coupled with her belief in trade not aid, led her to join forces with partner Gerson Barnett. Together they have created an accessories brand with a conscience."
Here are the new additions to my jewellery box:

Sailor knot bracelet in white and gold, from thevamoose at Etsy

Little Bunny ring from SarahBirtJewellery at Etsy

Brass star shape earrings by made
