Red, white and you

It's our patron saint's day here in England.

Somewhat unfairly, we don't yet get a national holiday to celebrate. But I've been contemplating how one could incorporate the essence of the day into one's wardrobe, without having to flaunt the St George's flag like a football fanatic or a tragic member of some nationalist regime.

I have picked out some sweet pieces that can help any patriotic lady embrace the spirit of St George. Or indeed, any lady who has no affiliation at all and just likes to wear white and red.

Light and bright, and perfect for spring/summer, the colour combination to me screams chic but relaxed, classic but fun.

Cute socks, although a bt too girly for me to actually wear. I like the bags and the tops too, especially the dotted one, plus that over-the-top red rose brooch!
