My Mum was visiting the flat this afternoon and told me about some Converse All Stars that she had spotted, and which had made her think of me. They had a pop art print on the heel, she said.

An internet perusal later and, although we couldn’t find the Lichtenstein-esque ones she'd seen, I did come across this punk-inspired selection, available at Office.
Designs featuring The Clash and Blondie – please use the comments box to debate whether Blondie is technically ‘punk’ below – adorn classic Chuck Taylor high-tops, Oxford lows, and the lite Oxford.

Blondie Oxford low - My personal choice
And if you're a fan of neither The Clash or Blondie (shame on you) you can buy these non-committal 'I heart ...' high tops, and scribble in your favourite band with permanent marker. Or water-soluble if you're particularly fickle.

Since my black & silver zebra striped high tops disintegrated, I've been looking for a replacement. I'm thinking the b/w Blondie Ox lows could be a payday treat!
I love Blondie and I love The Clash but.. I prefer my Converse completely plain, only adorned with a few choice mosh-pit scuff-marks. Precious? Moi?
No, I can understand that. It's virtually impossible to go wrong with a pair of plain All Stars. But the pairing of a favourite band and a favourite trainer is tough to turn down!
In case you were still pondering after them
